Physiotherapy Assistant - Band 2
Permanent position, 1X 37.5 hours per week.
We are looking for motivated, caring individuals with excellent communication skills to work within our dynamic in‑patient Physiotherapy team to deliver a high quality service to patients on general medical wards.
Responsibilities
* Assist with specific support work for patient rehabilitation and mobility.
* Treat patients (often unsupervised) according to set treatment protocols and individual treatment programmes identified by a physiotherapist.
* Work with direct and indirect supervision, reporting patient progress and informing physiotherapist of any problems.
* Assist in the general administration and equipment needs of the physiotherapy department autonomously.
