Role: Senior Electronics Engineer
Location: Shipley, West Yorkshire + Hybrid Work from Home and flexi hours
Salary: Up to £70,000 + Benefits
KO2 are working with a forward-thinking technology company in the Shipley are, seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join their multi-disciplinary team developing the next generation of wireless communication products.
This is a hands-on, end-to-end role - you will play a key role in electronics design process from concept and prototyping through to production handover, ensuring every design meets exacting standards of performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience with PCB design tools (Altium Designer and/or PADS Logic/Layout).
Experience designing multi-layer PCBs
Strong experience with digital electronic circuits
Experience with a host of serial and comms protocols (RS232, RS485, Ethernet, SPI, UART etc)
Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
5+ years of professional experience in electronics design.
Proven track record delivering products within multi-disciplinary development environments.
Eligible for, or already hold, SC-level security clearance (British citizenship required).
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team.Key Responsibilities
Lead hardware design, including embedded processor systems, PCBs and communication interfaces.
Perform PCB schematic capture and layout, including component library creation and management.
Ensure designs meet all EMC compliance and performance standards.
