It also runs several commercial services including a lettings agency and nightclub. It's an exciting time to join LUSU as it embarks on a transformational journey to stay agile to meet the needs of students, whilst navigating the changes in higher education. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Commercial and Marketing to join for a fixed term of 18months. Working with a talented team, a committed Board of Trustees and an inspirational CEO the role will be varied and be responsible for driving forward the commercial activities of the Union. Your role will :
* Contribute to LUSU’s overall strategic planning and development alongside other senior colleagues and the Board.
* Assess the commercial performance of all the businesses.
* Set the vision and strategy for commercial teams.
* Lead the strategic and operational management of the Sugarhouse nightclub, LUSU Living, and Commercial Marketing services.
* Drive business growth through effective planning, innovation and performance management.
* Ensure commercial activities comply with relevant legislation, licensing and regulatory standards.
* Develop and implement a marketing strategy that enhances the profile of LUSU
* Deliver strategic reports to the Board.
