Were looking for 5 dedicated Campus Services Officers to join our regional team and help ensure our campus remains a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards, thrives in a supervisory role, and enjoys a varied, hands-on position that combines team leadership with day-to-day operational responsibilities. Reporting to the Senior Campus Services Manager, you will: Supervise a team of Cleaners. Manage daily cleaning operations, ensuring work is carried out efficiently, to schedule, and to the highest quality. Be responsible for maintaining health, safety, hygiene, and customer service standards across your areas of responsibility. Provide support for low-level maintenance, including minor repairs, routine inspections, and assistance with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks in collaboration with the Campus Support Technician. Key Responsibilities include: Supervise, support, and motivate a team of Cleaners to meet service standards, including staff training. Organise rotas, manage workloads, and monitor staff attendance. Conduct cleaning audits and report on standards. Perform and oversee deep cleaning duties using appropriate materials and equipment. Support health and safety practices, including COSHH, manual handling, and infection control. Assist in staff training and ensure team compliance with policies and procedures. Monitor and maintain stock levels, cleanliness of storage areas, and safe use of equipment. Deliver excellent customer service to enhance student and staff experience. Carry out basic maintenance and assist with compliance-related tasks as needed. This position is working full time, 37.5 hours per week across the following shift patterns: 05:00
13:30, working 5 days over 7, including some weekend cover. Our Successful Candidate: Our ideal candidate will demonstrate: Proven experience in a cleaning supervisory. Sound knowledge of hygiene standards, health and safety regulations, and infection control. Practical experience with minor maintenance tasks is desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence in both written and verbal communication. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive, can-do attitude. Flexible approach to working hours and responsibilities. Excellent customer service. Desirable: A full UK or EU driving licence. BICSc (British Institute of Cleaning Science) Assessor trained.
