The Role:
Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is currently seeking a passionate and innovative Lecturer – Digital Specialist to join our Digital and Creative Innovation (DACI) team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the next generation of digital talent while contributing to a dynamic and creative academic community.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
As a Lecturer – Digital Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and support to our students. Your main duties will involve:
2. Delivering and managing inclusive learning, teaching, and assessment in digital and computing subjects to a high standard.
3. Assisting in curriculum design, development, and quality improvement to enhance the student experience.
4. Supporting student recruitment, retention, achievement, and progression, providing targeted academic guidance.
5. Contributing to the academic community through research, scholarship, and professional practice.
6. Using digital and face-to-face teaching tools and systems (e.g., VLE, progress tracking software) to drive student success.
