Job Title: Admin and Reception Officer
Location: Ilford
Salary: £13.98 per hour
Contract: Full-time, Temporary
Responsibilities:
1. Provide front-line reception services, acting as the first point of contact for service users, visitors, and staff.
2. Handle a wide range of queries and complaints politely and helpfully, in person and via telephone, seeking guidance from senior staff as needed.
3. Manage session and room bookings, including cash and card payments, adhering to policies on cash handling and data protection. May be required to bank cash.
4. Sort and circulate internal correspondence and process outgoing mail.
5. Perform photocopying and collation tasks, ensuring quality and timeliness.
6. Provide accurate message-taking services, passing messages promptly to relevant staff.
7. Maintain the cleanliness and safety of public areas, ensuring they are tidy and well-maintained.
8. Ensure that informational materials such as leaflets are current and correctly displayed.
9. Respect confidentiality of all parties, including staff and service users.
10. Report security, health & safety issues, and building defects following procedures. Conduct risk assessments before opening and after closing, completing necessary documentation.
