Role Summary:An opportunity to join the Residential Property team as a Conveyancing Assistant, supporting the conveyancing process from instruction to post-completion. The role involves liaising with clients and stakeholders, preparing legal documents, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This position offers exposure to a wide variety of conveyancing matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfer of equity, equity release, landlord purchases, shared ownership, and new builds.
Key Responsibilities:Client Liaison: Communicate with clients, banks, building societies, and estate agents to facilitate transactionsDocument Preparation: Prepare and manage legal documents, including SDLT forms and completion statementsFile Management: Open and maintain client files using the firm's case management systemPost-Completion Duties: Handle registrations and other post-completion tasksAdministrative Support: Assist with quotes, instructions, and general administrative
Requirements:Previous experience in a conveyancing or legal support roleStrong organisational and communication skillsProficiency in using case management systems and Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
