CNC Turner / Manual Lathe Operator

£13–£15 per hour (depending on experience)
Our client here in Birmingham is currently looking for a skilled CNC Turner with experience operating manual lathes to join our growing engineering team. This is a great opportunity for a reliable machinist who takes pride in precision work and wants to be part of a supportive workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Setting and operating CNC turning machines
• Operating manual lathes for precision engineering work
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Producing high quality machined components to specification
• Carrying out basic machine maintenance and housekeeping
• Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards
Requirements
• Previous experience as a CNC Turner or manual lathe operator
• Ability to read engineering drawings confidently
• Good attention to detail and quality standards
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
• Programming experience beneficial but not essential
Fanuc experience
