Role Description

This is a contract, part-time remote role for an Ad Hoc Privacy Attorney supporting a SaaS company team. The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice on privacy-related matters, ensure regulatory compliance, draft and review relevant policies and procedures, and offer guidance on labor and employment law as it pertains to privacy. The role may also involve conducting legal research and supporting negotiations to ensure adherence to best practices and legal requirements.


Qualifications

* Qualified solicitor or barrister admitted to practice in the UK.
* Strong knowledge of UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018, and international transfer frameworks.
* Proven experience advising SaaS or cloud‑based software companies (preferred).
* Experience drafting and negotiating data processing agreements and privacy provisions in commercial contracts.
* Practical, business‑focused approach with an emphasis on efficiency and cost savings.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
* Ability to operate independently on ad‑hoc matters and meet tight deadlines.
