Job description: The Adult Sexual Exploitation Partnership (ASEP) brings together eight organisations from across Yorkshire and the North East to provide trauma‑informed support for women who have been targeted for abuse, including sexual exploitation. The Sexual Exploitation Caseworker provides one‑to‑one support, brokering solutions to address immediate needs and crises, supports women through the process of giving evidence to trials, and drives and embeds best practice for working with young women transitioning into adulthood. You will be part of the Women Centre team, line‑managed within the team, and collaborate with partners across the region to share learning and participate in evaluation and broader events.
Responsibilities
* Provide trauma‑informed one‑to‑one support to women experiencing sexual exploitation.
* Brokering solutions to address immediate needs and crises.
* Support women in the process of giving evidence to trials.
* Embed best practice for working with young women transitioning into adulthood.
* Collaborate with other ASEP partnership organisations to share learning and participate in evaluation and broader events.
* Promote safeguarding practice across service delivery and staff/volunteer recruitment.
Qualifications
* Relevant qualifications in social work, counselling or a related field (preferred).
* Experience working with survivors of sexual exploitation or similar trauma.
* Strong understanding of safeguarding and trauma‑informed care.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
