ABOUT THE ROLE: Lankelma Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic, organised and detail‑oriented Project Administrator to join our Projects Team at our East Sussex office. In this role, you will play a key part in the successful delivery of Cone Penetration Testing (CPT) projects across the UK and internationally. You’ll support the team from tender stage through to project completion, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, on budget, and to the high standards Lankelma is known for. This position would suit someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and working closely with both clients and site teams. Previous experience in geotechnical investigation or construction is advantageous but not essential — full training will be provided. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare and submit tenders for small to medium CPT projects Support the preparation of proposals, bid documents, and accurate cost estimates for UK and international projects Work closely with the Onland Manager and Project Management Team to ensure tenders meet technical, commercial, and client requirements Act as a key point of contact for clients, handling enquiries relating to tenders, ongoing projects, and invoicing Coordinate with site teams throughout the project lifecycle to support smooth site operations Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to repeat business Prepare, collate, and distribute project documentation, including: Project Quality Plans Risk Assessments Method Statements Project Information Sheets Source quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing Support project logistics, planning, and delivery of site works Keep clients informed of progress, issues, or changes Proactively identify tasks, support continuous improvement, and develop your own technical knowledge ABOUT YOU: Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Comfortable managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines Proactive, flexible, and able to adapt to changing priorities Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office Able to build positive working relationships with clients and colleagues Full UK driving licence WHAT WE OFFER: Competitive salary (£33,000-£35000), dependent on experience) Private health insurance and life insurance Employee share scheme Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Ongoing training, professional development, and clear career progression The opportunity to work with a leading geotechnical company with a global presence and over 25 years of industry experience As part of our dedicated focus on the health and safety of all employees, and due to the requirement, that employees be able to safely complete the tasks associated with this job position, a successful candidate may be required to take a pre-employment fit for duty test, including a drug and alcohol testing, and complete a satisfactory criminal record check.
