We are working in partnership with Westgate School in Slough, an ambitious and inclusive secondary school, to recruit a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to support teaching and learning across a variety of subjects. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced cover supervisors looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive and professional setting. Role Responsibilities: Supervise classes across KS3 and KS4 during teacher absences Deliver pre-prepared work and ensure students remain on task Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies Provide feedback to teaching staff and report on student progress Maintain a positive and safe learning environment Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential Confident in managing classroom behaviour and engaging students Adaptable, proactive, and organised Strong communication skills and a calm, authoritative presence Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply) Why Apply?
