Wood Machinist

Our client based in Cheltenham are looking for a skilled Wood Machinist to join their team.
Wood Machinist Roles and Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate CNC timber machinery
* Machine both softwood and hardwood to meet stock and custom specifications
* Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient mill environment
* Collaborate with management to ensure smooth production workflows
* Consistently uphold high standards of housekeeping across the workspace
* Ensure all products are machined to a high quality and professionally packaged
* Support team members in preparing accurate and timely customer deliveries
* Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, working responsibly to protect colleagues, equipment, and materials
Wood Machinist Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience setting up and operating CNC machines
* Hands-on experience working with timber
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* A proactive and team-oriented attitude
* Awareness of safety protocols in a production or workshop setting
Wood Machinist Working Hours and Benefits:
* Monday – Friday, 07:30 – 16:30
* Christmas and New Year Shutdown
