We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented 2D CAD Technician to join our growing design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate and high-quality technical drawings to support engineering and project delivery. This role is ideal for someone with strong AutoCAD experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with engineers and project teams. Key Responsibilities Produce accurate 2D CAD drawings and layouts using AutoCAD. Create and update technical drawings, plans, and detailed designs. Interpret design specifications, sketches, and engineering instructions. Revise drawings based on project requirements and feedback. Ensure drawings comply with company standards and industry regulations. Maintain organised drawing records and document control systems. Work closely with engineers, designers, and project teams to ensure design accuracy. Skills and Experience Proven experience using AutoCAD or similar 2D CAD software. Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organisational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or construction environment is desirable. Qualifications HNC/HND, Diploma, or Degree in Engineering, Design, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
