The difference you will make
We are looking for an Account Manager to join our commercial team in South Wales, covering the Bridgend to Pembrokeshire area. You will embody Bauer Media's values and take personal revenue responsibility for your territory.
Your role
* Taking full ownership of your territory (Bridgend through to Pembrokeshire), proactively identifying and researching new business opportunities.
* Generating leads and booking meetings with new and prospective clients.
* Presenting tailored proposals and confidently managing the sales process through to close.
* Working with creative teams to build proposals and campaigns
* Growing group revenues across your specific territory and the wider Bauer portfolio
* Managing advertising inventory and price
* Developing key internal and external customer relationships
* Achieving and exceeding personal and team revenue targets
The skills you will bring
* Previous experience in a B2B sales environment with a focus on new business.
* Prior experience within media/audio or digital marketing sales (a bonus)
* Great listening and communication skills.
* Track record achieving revenue targets.
* Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and tenacity in spades.
* Ability to build and maintain long lasting relationships.
* Skills to drive new business meetings through intensive telephone prospecting.
* Networking skills with the confidence to get out there into your territory and make great things happen.
* A big sense of humour and even bigger sense of optimism.
Working Pattern/Location
This is a full time permanent role. This is a mix of field and home-based working with a need to be based in South Wales. One day a week (Mondays) will be office based near Cardiff.
A monthly car allowance is included to cover any travel costs and this role comes with uncapped commission.
