Working for a leading Main Contractor, you will support the Senior Commercial team in delivering high-value construction projects across the North East. Key Duties and Responsibilities Subcontractor Management: Assisting with the procurement of subcontractors, including the preparation of tender packages and analysing returns. Cost Control: Supporting the monitoring of project costs against budget and assisting in the preparation of monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs). Valuations and Payments: Measuring works on-site and assisting with the preparation of interim valuations and subcontractor payment notices. Variations: Identifying, pricing, and recording variations to the contract in a timely manner. Site Records: Maintaining accurate records of site activities, resources, and progress to support commercial claims and reporting. Final Accounts: Assisting the Quantity Surveyor in the agreement of subcontractor final accounts and the preparation of the main contract final account.
