With this ambition, this role will develop strategic insights into the competitive landscape and market environment and answer the key questions that are critical to build and sustain competitive advantage. Reporting into the Head of Customer Strategy you will proactively conduct in-depth market research and analysis to stay informed about competitor activities and evolving market trends.. Key Responsibilities: Identify and conduct a comprehensive analysis of key competitors, including their products, services, pricing strategies, market positioning, strengths, weaknesses and key differentiators. Determine the strategic positioning of competitors and assess the potential impact on our business. Monitor and track market trends, market developments, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to identify potential opportunities and threats within the competitive landscape. Establish and maintain a comprehensive library of competitor information and market trends. Take the lead in monitoring industry news, press releases, and other pertinent sources to pinpoint significant developments and trends. Prepare detailed reports and presentations to effectively communicate findings to a range of stakeholders, from the Group Board to Senior Leadership. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, Customer, and other go-to-market teams, to provide valuable insights and support decision-making. Stay current on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in the field of competitive intelligence. Act as internal expert on the details of competitors' offerings and how they compare with Just's offerings. Skills and Experience: Proven experience in competitive analysis, market research or strategy consulting. Strong ability to collect, organise and analyse information from various sources to extract meaningful insights. Excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful, actionable insights for various stakeholders, including sales, product, marketing and executive teams. Ability to work with various stakeholders to provide them with the required level and type of insights. Ability to prioritise projects based on business requirements.
