Role: Windows & Doors Installation (Technical Assessor)
Location: Remote, UK coverage
We are currently looking an experienced engineer with practical testing experience in Fenestration ideally in a Testing Lab within an ISO/IEC 17025 environment to become our go to external technical assessor.
Playing a pivotal role, our external Technical Assessors are a crucial part of the UKAS assessment process, providing UKAS with the essential expertise required to deliver robust assessments in Windows and Doors covering areas such as:
* Construction
* Basic & Enhanced Security
* Weathertightness
* Door Furniture
* Industrial and Garage Doors (General, dynamic forces methods & wind loading
Key skills:
* Detailed technical expertise in physical, mechanical and security testing,
* Have a technical qualification in a mechanical or civil engineering discipline.
* Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, being able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* Full training will be provided for to become an Assessor in Report Writing to UKAS requirements offering ISO/IEC 17024:2012 standard awareness and UKAS systems training.
