Our Digital and Data technology team are at the forefront of digital innovation, delivering best-in-class solutions for clients and shaping a data-driven future for the UK government. You’ll join a team that supports secure software, application services, and cloud migrations, collaborating with project managers, developers and incident teams to keep critical government services secure, reliable and resilient.
Responsibilities
* Configure systems to safeguard vital services and lead activities across databases, incident resolution, change requests, mentoring colleagues, and potential team leadership.
* Take ownership of tasks, solve problems, and ensure services remain secure, reliable and resilient.
* Collaborate with project managers, developers and incident teams to translate technical detail into practical solutions and improve service delivery processes.
* Refine processes, contribute to service delivery improvements, and develop your own expertise over time.
* Apply your 3rd line support experience across Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, Teams, Intune, SharePoint, Power Platform) and use PowerShell scripting and security tools (Defender, Purview) to resolve complex issues.
Qualifications and Skills
* Agile & ITIL Foundation level or relevant experience.
* Microsoft role-based certification – Expert and relevant product certifications.
* Level 3 Information Communication Technician (or equivalent) in IT/Computer Science or relevant experience.
* Practitioner level knowledge of hardware, software and systems being supported.
* Substantial experience in enterprise environments and working within secure environments (e.g., MOD).
* Experience in a high-pressured, fast-paced team.

* Successful candidates must meet security requirements; developed vetting is required.
