Registered Manager – 3-Bed Therapeutic Children’s Home (EBD) Oswestry (SY11), Shropshire Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm On-Call Duties Base Salary: £46,150 Total OTE: Up to £63,650 (Including bonuses for retention, Ofsted outcomes & longevity) About the Role This is an exciting opportunity to lead a brand-new, 3-bed specialist therapeutic home supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). You’ll have a clear vision, a nurturing approach, and the resilience to lead a new service from day one. Minimum Requirements: ✅ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) ✅ Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential childcare, with 2 years at Deputy/Assistant Manager level ✅ Experience of leading or contributing to Ofsted inspections ✅ Proven ability to build and manage effective teams ✅ Full UK driving licence, own car, and business insurance Preferred: Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or willingness to complete) Therapeutic or trauma-informed care experience Strong Ofsted outcomes and SC history (will be requested) Knowledge of safeguarding, care regulations, and attachment theories Safeguarding & Equal Opportunities We’re committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment.
