About The Role
As a Freelance Journalist within LADbible Group, you will use your editorial talent to produce high‑quality and thought‑provoking articles – covering breaking news, features, interviews, reviews and more. You will help enhance the brand image by maintaining a strong online presence as well as developing and improving the quality of written articles.
What The Opportunity Looks Like
* Write accurate, engaging, and informative content in line with tone of brand.
* Produce trending articles at speed while maintaining impeccable grammar, ensuring all deadlines and quotas are met.
* Pitch original ideas and follow‑up angles for the biggest stories across our brands.
* Grow and utilise contacts for leads.
* Research and seek the latest news, trends, and reports ahead of competitors.
* Track article success with sessions and engagement time, using this to pitch follow‑ups and improve your writing.
Skills and experience we'd like you to have
* Have a journalistic background with 1+ years experience in a newsroom or similar role.
* NCTJ qualified.
* You are target‑driven and understand the necessity for tight turnaround times.
* You have a proven ability to think, imagine and produce new and original ideas.
* You are an experienced user of Microsoft Office.
* A degree within a relevant field is desirable but not essential.
