College Catering Assistant - Term Time Only Location: Leek Monday to Friday (term time only) ⏰ Hours: 9am - 2pm Pay: £12.71 per hour Looking for a part-time role that fits perfectly around your day? We're currently recruiting Catering Assistants to support a college in Leek. This role is ideal if you're returning to work, balancing family commitments, or simply looking for steady part-time hours during term time. To work in a college environment, you'll need an Enhanced DBS check. If you don't already have one, we can support you with the application. What you'll be doing: Assisting with the preparation and service of food and drinks Serving students and staff during lunch service Operating tills Clearing and cleaning tables and dining areas Unpacking and storing deliveries Washing dishes and maintaining clean kitchen areas Following food hygiene and health & safety standards Providing friendly, efficient customer service ✅ What we're looking for: Food Hygiene Level 1 (dated within the last 12 months) Willingness to help with cleaning and general kitchen duties Good time management and organisational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Clear communication skills Reliable, motivated, and hard‑working Previous catering experience is helpful but not essential Why work with Blue Arrow?
