Document Controller

Location: Haydock, St Helens (minimum of 2 days per week in the office)

Cockermouth, Cumbria (minimum of 2 days per week in the office)

Job type: Permanent / Temporary

Contracted hours: Full time – 36hrs per week (we offer an option to condense full time hours into 4 days Monday – Thursday) / Part time


About the role

Overview of the role

As Document Controller you will support Delkia’s quality and project delivery teams by ensuring that documentation is accurately organised, maintained, stored and distributed in line with organisational and client standards.


What you’ll be responsible for

Your main responsibilities will include:

* Supporting with the creation, review and monitoring of and tracking of project documentation
* Leading on the completion of and upkeep of project related LTRs (lifetime records)
* Implementing internal and client document control system procedures and processes
* Performing quality checks on documentation to ensure internal and client standards and specifications are met
* Saving, retrieving, filing and archiving documentation and records
* Flowing out project documentation to stakeholders including the transmittals


About you


What you’ll bring

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

* Strong attention to detail and eye for detail
* Experience in administration
* Knowledge of, or experience in document control principles and practices would be beneficial
* A good understanding of and experience of working with Microsoft Office 365 (especially Word and Excel)
* Experience of working with SharePoint would be beneficial
* Strong organisational skills
* GCSE in English at C/4 or above

What we offer


Ways of Working

* 36 hours full time working
* Optional 4 day working week (Monday to Thursday)
* Hybrid working for many roles (minimum of 2 days per week on site)

* 23 days holiday, plus 3 discretionary days to cover the Christmas closedown period (plus bank holidays)
