Specialize in Key Stage 4 (KS4) (GCSE Physics or Combined Science) and Key Stage 5 (KS5) (A-Level Physics). Plan lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, exam board specifications (e.g. AQA, Edexcel, OCR), and school policies. 2. Assessment and Feedback Design and administer formative (ongoing) and summative (final) assessments. Mark work, track progress, and provide constructive feedback to students. Prepare students for external exams, including mock assessments and revision support. 3. Classroom Management Create a safe, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment. Use a range of strategies to manage behavior and support engagement. 4. Practical Work Plan and supervise hands-on experiments and demonstrations. Ensure health and safety standards are met in labs, often liaising with technicians. 5. Pastoral Role Act as a form tutor or support students’ well-being in a broader role. Monitor student welfare and refer concerns according to safeguarding policies.
