Regeneration Project Lead
Hybrid - Craven Arms / Home Working with site travel as needed
£62,068 per annum
18-month Contract
We are looking for a Regeneration Project Lead who will be responsible for delivering the group’s regeneration function, maximising the performance and potential of Connexus’ existing stock and land assets. You will take the lead on the development and implementation of a regeneration programme, working closely with colleagues across the Asset Management and Communities teams to ensure alignment with our objectives, customer needs and community priorities.
It will be your responsibility to identify and secure development opportunities in regeneration areas by working with key contractors in accordance with Connexus’ Land Purchasing Policy. You will review existing estates to determine optimal regeneration strategies, evaluate properties earmarked for disposal to assess suitability for Floreat Homes development and prepare & present regeneration proposals to the Finance and Investment Committee. It is critical that you provide support and guidance to colleagues, ensuring that effective delivery of individual regeneration projects.
You will have objectives to achieve such as finding and securing new land, develop opportunities by working with current partners and building new relationships. You will increase income, control spending, and explore extra funding to drive the delivery of regeneration projects. It is crucial for you to promote Connexus’ regeneration and new build projects, both inside and outside the organisation. It is key that you support and guide the regeneration team to help them perform well and keep improving.
We are looking for a candidate with strong knowledge of project management, with proven experience in leading development and regeneration projects as well as proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage a development team effectively. You will be skilled in building and maintaining productive relationships and demonstrate success in negotiating complex land acquisitions. A background in either the social or private housing sectors, a good understanding of the broader economic factors influencing the housing market and extensive experience of working in partnership with Homes England are all advantageous.
