About Our Client
Our client is a well-established Distribution company are currently recruiting a Senior Management Accountant to join them on-site on a full time basis. They are known for their innovative and high-quality products, and pride themselves on their impressive service.This role requires a site-based presence.
Job Description
Management Accountant duties include;
3. Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis
4. Oversee budgeting and forecasting cycles.
5. Coordinate, analyse and report financial performance to Management and Board of Directors.
6. Produce insightful financial analysis to support strategic and operational decisions
7. Monitor financial performance against KPIs and business targets
8. Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations.
9. Preparation of year end accounts, audit management and external financial reporting processes
10. Review, refine, and optimise internal reporting tools and dashboards
11. Standard costs and sales margin analysis.
12. Business partnering with operational and commercial teams
13. Oversee cash flow forecasting and cost analysis
The Successful Applicant
The successful Management Accountant should have:
14. Formally Qualified (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
15. Strong management accounting and business partnering experience, with expertise in financial controls, management reporting and cost analysis
16. A commercial mindset, able and willing to offer insight on both opportunities and potential risks.
17. The ability to clearly communicate technically complex financial issues.
18. Proficiency in financial software, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI.
19. Experience of working on Sage X3 or other similar ERP systems.
20. Strong communication and presentation skills.
21. A highly organised approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
