Overview
The Assembler is responsible for the precision rebuild and repair of machine tools, often without prints.
This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of machine tools, and the ability to perform high-accuracy assembly to ultra-close tolerances. Work includes disassembly, inspection, machining, bearing installation, balancing, and final assembly of spindle components.
Responsibilities
* Disassembly, inspection, machining, bearing installation, balancing, and final assembly of spindle components
* Perform precision rebuilds and repairs of machine tools, often without prints
Qualifications
* 3–5 years of experience in complex mechanical repair or assembly (e.g., machine tools, automotive/diesel engines, or gearboxes)
* Ability to read blueprints
* Ability to use precision measuring tools
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
