We have a new opportunity for a dynamic and ambitious Head of Sales to join to lead our successful sales team in Belfast.
Balloo Hire Centres is a leading provider of tool, plant and welfare equipment for businesses and DIY needs in Northern Ireland. Balloo Hire Centres is part of The Briggs Equipment Group and therefore can offer a local solution with corporate level support.
In this role, you will:
* Drive revenue growth across all new equipment categories, taking full accountability for departmental budgeting, cost management, and overall commercial performance.
* Embed a culture of SHEQ excellence, ensuring full compliance while leveraging Safety, Health, Environment and Quality as a strategic advantage in the marketplace.
* Develop and implement strategic sales plans for key target accounts to deliver annual revenue, profit, and unit targets.
* Identify and convert high‑value strategic opportunities, accelerating growth across both existing and prospective customer portfolios.
* Lead the pricing strategy, ensuring alignment with Balloo’s commercial goals and market dynamics, supported by clear, evidence‑based competitor and market intelligence.
* Interpret market insights and customer data to pinpoint emerging trends and shape informed commercial decisions across priority sectors.
* Build and mentor a high‑performing sales team, providing strong leadership, clear objectives, and ongoing development to maximise performance.

* A proven track record of leading high‑performing teams to exceed targets across Regional and Key Accounts.
* Demonstrated success in securing new business, winning strategic accounts, and creating new revenue streams.
* Strong commercial acumen with a history of driving sustained revenue growth.
* Experience expanding product or service portfolios and diversifying market offerings.
* The ability to build, nurture, and retain long‑term, high‑value client relationships.
* A flexible, collaborative approach with the willingness to contribute across multiple business functions.
