New Directions Education is looking for enthusiastic, caring, and dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistants to join schools across Ellesmere Port.
This is more than a classroom role—it’s about building confidence, supporting progress, and being a consistent positive presence in students’ lives.
What You’ll Do
· Support students 1:1 and in small groups across a range of subjects
· Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
· Provide targeted intervention to help pupils close learning gaps
· Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
· Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to support individual learning plans
