Job Overview
A lady living in Leitholm is seeking a kind and reliable Personal Assistant (or a small team of Personal Assistants) to provide gentle daily support. The role focuses on helping her maintain as much independence and control over her life as possible within her own home.
Because this post involves providing personal care to a female client, it is restricted to female applicants in line with the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1 (genuine occupational requirement).
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
* Support the client to remain safe and comfortable in her home environment.
* Provide personal care as required, including assistance with dressing, sequential prompting, and hair care.
* Offer general daily support and friendly companionship.
* Build and maintain a positive, respectful relationship with the client and her family.

* Patient, cheerful, and friendly with an optimistic outlook
* Reliable, trustworthy, and able to use initiative
* Able to work sensitively in a private home, respecting privacy and maintaining professional confidentiality
Skills & Experience
* Previous care or support experience is welcome but not essential for candidates with the right personal qualities
Terms
* Hours: 8.75 hours per week, consisting of personal care and meal preparation
* Pay Rate: £15 per hour
* Holiday Entitlement: 5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata
* Probationary Period: 6 months
* Travel Allowance: To be discussed with the employer
* Statutory employment rights apply, including paid holiday as stated above
