Location: Shepshed, LE12 (near Loughborough, Leicester and Derbyshire)
Daily Rate: £90-£100 per day
Contract: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, Long Term to Permanent

About the Role
We are recruiting a committed and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Shepshed. The school supports children and young people aged 4-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This role is well-suited to those with a background in education, youth work, sports, care or mental health support. While experience is highly valuable, what matters most is a caring, resilient and proactive attitude. An interest in sport or practical activities is a bonus, and graduates who are keen to develop their experience in an SEMH setting are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH needs
Encouraging participation in lessons and practical activities to build confidence and life skills
Supporting emotional regulation and promoting positive behaviour routines
Contributing to a positive, inclusive school culture where pupils feel valued and supportedWho We're Looking For:
Individuals with experience supporting children or young people with SEN or SEMH, or those with a genuine interest in developing this experience.
People from backgrounds such as youth work, education, sports coaching, care or mental health support
