The Role
We are looking for a Technical Architect or Architectural Technologist or experienced Part II Assistant to join our growing studio. The successful applicant will have experience of technical detailing on residential and commercial projects and on-site project delivery experience. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a wide range of projects, working across all RIBA stages.
You will be involved in developing technical solutions, coordinating design information, and ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and contribute to technical design and detailing across projects
• Prepare planning, tender and construction packages
• Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and industry standards
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and clients
• Support project delivery across all RIBA work stages
• Assist in the development of BIM workflows
About You
We’re looking for someone who combines technical expertise with a proactive, collaborative approach.
Essential:
• Degree in Architectural Technology / Architecture or similar
• Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing
• Experience working across multiple project stages
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
Desirable:
• CIAT membership or working towards chartership
• Experience in residential, commercial or heritage sectors
• Understanding of planning processes and submissions
