We're a busy, friendly pottery painting and clay studio with multiple locations, offering fun, creative experiences for all ages. From birthday parties and school visits to adult workshops and clay evenings, we do it all – and we're always growing We're looking for a passionate and versatile Studio Assistant to join our team and bring both practical help and creative energy to our spaces.
About the Role
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll be assisting in the day-to-day running of our studio(s), helping customers, prepping pottery, setting up events, and keeping everything flowing smoothly. You'll also take the lead on creating fun, engaging content for our social media platforms – so a creative eye and some confidence with a camera are a big plus
As we operate across multiple locations, you'll need to drive between sites (mileage covered), and you'll have the chance to get involved in our busy events calendar – or even suggest and run your own
Key Responsibilities
* Welcome and assist customers in the studio with pottery painting and clay activities
* Set up and tidy away sessions, events, and workshops
* Clean and prep pottery pieces ready for firing
* Support with glazing, kiln loading, and studio upkeep (training provided)
* Create photo and video content for social media (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
* Post regularly, help with ideas, and capture the creative vibe of the studio
* Travel between sites when needed – must be able to drive
* Help out at events and off-site bookings (schools, parties, pop-ups)
* Suggest your own event or workshop ideas – we love creativity
What We're Looking For
* A friendly, enthusiastic, can-do attitude
* Confident with customers of all ages
* Social media savvy – happy taking photos and short videos
* Creative flair and attention to detail
* Able to drive (with access to your own car preferred)
* Organised, reliable, and comfortable working on your feet
* Experience in a creative or hospitality role is great, but not essential
* Willing to work every weekend and some evenings as needed.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £10.00-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 24 per week
