Maintenance Worker
£30,220 - £33,378 + excellent benefits
Being a maintenance worker in our school means being part of something big. You’ll be doing your bit to make sure the school building is a great place to be for our young people.
Get out what you put in. You’ll do all the general, day‑to‑day repairs needed to keep our school up and running, drive the school vehicles and keep them in good working order, as well as making sure the school grounds and garden are kept neat and tidy. You’ll also be a familiar, friendly face; this means our young people will sometimes stop to chat with you, so we’ll give you some training on child safeguarding to give you that extra confidence.
One of the best environments in SEND
Luxborough Court School is a brand‑new, purpose‑built school registered for 150 pupils aged 5–19 with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. There is a large sports hall with changing facilities, a bespoke 6th form suite and several smaller individual spaces used for therapeutic intervention and bespoke support. The school benefits from extensive outdoor space plus a large central courtyard garden in the centre of the school and separate secondary and junior playgrounds, with a multi‑use games area. There are good public transport connections with Chigwell Station and good road links near the M11, Junction 4.
