Job Description

Our client, a leading provider of enterprise technology solutions supporting financial and professional services sectors, seeks a Principal Technical Program Manager to join their delivery leadership team in Peterborough. You will shape planning, execution, and success of a multi-product portfolio supporting services like HCM and payroll platforms.
Responsibilities
* Lead planning, coordination, and governance of programs across multiple Agile teams.
* Drive fiscal year and quarterly portfolio planning activities.
* Align initiatives with teams and resources.
* Facilitate program meetings to ensure on-track delivery.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across product management, development, engineering, QA, release, and external units.
* Ensure roadmap alignment, milestone tracking, and effective communication.
* Facilitate discovery sessions, estimation, impact assessments, and project reporting.
* Manage inter-team dependencies, resource constraints, risks, and governance gaps.
Qualifications
* At least five years managing complex software programs in Agile environments.
* Experience in HCM, payroll, or financial systems domains preferred.
* Proficiency in Scrum and Kanban methodologies, with tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and Microsoft Office.
* Exceptional communication skills across technical, business, and executive audiences.
* Experience leading cross-functional and distributed teams.
* Knowledge of Scaled Agile (SAFe), Scrum of Scrums, and change management is advantageous.
