OOP, PHP, Laravel, VueJSOur client is a fast-growing, founder led, digital healthcare company experiencing rapid growth.
They are looking for a talented Senior Full Stack Developer to work with the Head of Development & senior leadership to help strengthen the development and delivery team. This role is primarily focused on the back-end (Laravel/PHP) side, but with solid front-end experience, ideally in Vue.js.
Within the space of 4 years the business has developed a leading healthcare home testing service, capitalised on changing market demands and launched a new healthcare product experiencing significant and rapid growth in subscriber numbers.
You will help with the development and mentorship of mid-level developers while also being able to collaborate effectively with the front end development team.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build and maintain Laravel based APIs and backend systems
Collaborate with front end developers on full stack features and UI integrations
Review and refactor existing code to improve performance, maintainability and security
Participate in code reviews, offer mentorship and champion best practicesEssential Criteria:
10+ years of professional experience in web development.
Strong PHP/Laravel background with exposure to front-end frameworks.
Practical experience with Vue.js - or strong transferable skills from Svelte/Alpine.js.
Enjoys mentoring and helping mid-level devs grow technically.
Highly autonomous and delivery-focused, comfortable owning complex features end-to-end.
Pragmatic and detail-oriented, with a focus on maintainable, scalable solutions.
