Job Description
* Drive continuous improvement within the logistics department.
* Implement and maintain standard operating procedures.
* Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with the established procedures.
* Provide training and support to the team on CI methodologies and tools.
* Collaborate with other departments to improve overall operational efficiency.
* Monitor performance metrics and prepare regular reports.
* Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
* Participate in strategic planning and project management activities.
The Successful Applicant
A successful CI Practitioner should have:
* A degree or experience in a relevant field such as Business Administration or Engineering.
* Proven experience in a similar role within the Transport & Distribution sector.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and tools.
* Six Sigma/ Lean accreditation is an advantage
* Prince2 training/ accreditation is preferred
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in using MS Office suite and relevant software applications.
