Main Job Responsibilities:
* Machine Operation: Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
* Assembly & Packing: Assemble components and package finished products in accordance with company standards.
* Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of products to ensure they meet quality specifications; report any defects or issues.
* Material Handling: Load and unload raw materials and finished goods; manage inventory as required.
* Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
* Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness of work areas and assist in routine maintenance of equipment.
* Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines.
About You:
* Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is required.
* Skills: Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
* Physical Requirements: Ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
* Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, as required.
* Qualifications: GCSEs or equivalent; specific certifications such as Health & Safety would be beneficial depending on the role.

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: £12.72 per hour
