Job Description:
Sphera is searching for an enthusiastic and motivated Business Development Representative with a “go getter” sales hunter mentality to join our fast-growing sales team. As a member of our professional sales team, you will follow up on marketing inquiries and hunt for new business opportunities with the goal of setting appointments for our global salesforce. This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that works hard and has fun while doing it! All reps will undergo virtual training, meetings with peers and business partners, and live practice to begin their sales journey.
Responsibilities
* Proactively seek out new business opportunities through outbound calling to engage, consult, and set appointments for field Sales Executives
* Focus on outbound campaigns and business development activities (calls, emails, social media) and promptly follow up on inquiries from marketing programs
* Use proven consultative sales methodologies to analyze prospects’ businesses and address their automation needs
* Leverage technology to develop and manage follow-up cadences to nurture potential leads
* Participate in training and educational sessions to stay updated on Sphera solutions, sales techniques, and industry trends
* Achieve and exceed daily activity and sales targets
Qualifications
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial inside sales environment
* Experience working with clients in a sales environment; experience with cold calling is a plus
* Dynamic personality with strong phone presence and confidence
* Adaptable and quick-thinking when facing new challenges or tough conversations
* Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or equivalent experience
* At least 1 year of sales experience with a successful track record in solution-based selling
* Experience selling SaaS products is highly preferred
* Business-to-business (B2B) sales experience is highly preferred
* Self-motivated, energetic, and able to thrive in a competitive team environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce.com is preferred
