Qualifications
Essential:
* Previous experience in a quality inspection role within manufacturing or sheet metal
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers, callipers, and micrometres
* Strong attention to detail
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Reliable and organised approach to work
Desirable:
* Knowledge of ISO quality standards
* Welding inspection experience
* Experience completing quality documentation and inspection reports
* Forklift licence
* Basic computer skills for reporting and record keeping
Roles & Responsibilities
* Carry out first off, in process, and final inspections of sheet metal components and assemblies.
* Inspect products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and company quality standards.
* Use inspection equipment including verniers, callipers, micrometres, height gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
* Identify, record, and report defects, non conformances, or quality issues.
* Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality documentation.
* Work closely with production, fabrication, and welding teams to resolve quality concerns.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality and manufacturing processes.
* Ensure all inspection equipment is calibrated and maintained correctly.
Requirements
As a Quality Inspector, you will also be expected to:
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment in line with health and safety procedures.
* Assist with internal audits and quality system compliance where required.
