The successful candidate will have strong expertise in FEA, materials behaviour, and life assessment, with experience working on rotating and structural parts in aerospace applications. This role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, technical documentation, and presentation of analysis results to both internal and external stakeholders.

You’ll be working with the industries largest OEM on projects and deliverables closely aligned with their long term and continued success.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead stress analysis of assigned components, ensuring compliance with all technical, fit, form, and functional requirements.
* Perform detailed 2D and 3D FEA, including modelling of contact, friction interfaces, and elastic–plastic behaviour.
* Collaborate with global engineering and support functions (life management, heat transfer, materials, design) as needed.
* Interface with design engineering teams to ensure robust and optimised solutions.
* Support technical reviews and deliver presentations to internal and external customers (systems technical reviews, design reviews, analysis reviews).

* Minimum 3 years’ experience in gas turbine stress analysis.
* Strong knowledge of 2D/3D stress and structural analysis of gas turbine rotating and/or static components.
* Proficiency in finite element modelling tools, including:
* ANSYS Mechanical APDL / Workbench
* Meshing tools (e.g. Hypermesh, UG NX)
* CAD tools (e.g. UG NX)
