Amazon’s Retail team is seeking a Vendor Recruitment Specialist to support our growth and enhance ecommerce services for Australian customers.
Location: Sydney, full-time, in-office 5 days a week.
Role Overview: The Vendor Recruitment Specialist will develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities, focusing on high-value brand partnerships and executing strategies to surpass account acquisition and growth targets. The role involves building relationships with key decision-makers within prospective vendors and internal teams, presenting Amazon solutions that meet vendor expectations, and automating manual processes to boost productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify, prospect, and recruit new suppliers via calls, emails, and events.
2. Serve as a business consultant to vendors, providing insights and advice.
3. Assist vendors in mastering Amazon’s tools for efficient integration.
4. Analyze data to identify growth opportunities and improve processes.

Qualifications:
* 2+ years in account, project, or program management, or buying.
* Bachelor’s degree.
* Proficiency in Excel and business analytics tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with analytical tools like Google Analytics, SQL, or HTML.
* Background in retail, ecommerce, or FMCG sectors.
* Experience in prospecting, qualifying, and cold-calling companies.
