Join a globally recognised engineering consultancy headquartered in Woking, delivering cutting-edge solutions to the energy and petrochemical sectors. This role supports the delivery of a major FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) for a high-profile refinery project.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Process Designer to lead and develop process design deliverables for a major FEED project. You will be responsible for producing high-quality drawings and documentation, translating engineering concepts into practical design outputs using industry-standard CAD tools.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop process design deliverables including:
* Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)
* Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
* Ensure drawings are accurate and incorporate corrections from check prints prior to submission.
* Translate engineering concepts into practical design drawings using CAD tools such as:
* AutoCAD
* SmartPlant P&ID
* PDMS / E3D
* Plant 3D or equivalent
* Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure alignment with project specifications and safety standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification).
* Minimum qualification: Certificate in Drafting Trade.
* Significant experience in process design within oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, or related industries.
* Proficiency in design software including:
* AutoCAD
* SmartPlant P&ID
* PDMS / E3D
* Plant 3D
* Strong understanding of process and piping design principles, equipment layout, and safety design.
* Saudi Aramco experience highly desirable.
Working Arrangement:
* Hybrid working model: 4 days/week in the office
* Office location: Woking, Surrey
