The Service
Sherwood House is a 24/7 registered care home providing person-centred care to 19 elderly residents. Located in Linby, a village awarded Nottinghamshire's "best kept village" in 2013, it offers a peaceful environment for both residents and staff.
The Role
Duties
* Maintain and comply with service delivery standards and statutory requirements.
* Ensure support aligns with NCHA’s principles, including support plans and risk assessments.
* Manage residents’ financial resources effectively.
* Deputise for the manager as needed.
* Recruit, support, develop, and evaluate staff performance.
What We Are Looking For
Motivated, detail-oriented candidates with knowledge of age-related health issues and experience in social care at a supervisory level. Experience in team change management and performance evaluation is desirable. Good IT skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. Personal values should align with NCHA’s CLEAR values.
Qualifications: Minimum Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent, with a goal to achieve Level 3.

Working Hours
Typically 09:00-16:30, Monday to Friday, with possible shifts including evenings, nights, and weekends.
Travel
Driving is highly desirable due to limited public transport options. The home is a 7-minute drive from Hucknall’s High Street.
