The Client
Our client is a thriving M&E contractor operating across various sectors including residential, student accommodation, leisure, and education. They are seeking a non-working Electrical Foreman for a sizeable, new-build residential project in Manchester city centre.
Project Duration: Work is set to last until 2028.
Requirements: Must have an ECS card.
The Role and its Responsibilities
1. Overseeing the installation of electrical services on site from start to finish by monitoring trades and sub-contractors.
2. Ensuring project progress is maintained according to schedule.
3. Representing the client on site as the first point of contact for trades and sub-contractors.
4. Providing regular reports to management, highlighting any concerns.
5. Conducting inspections to check installation quality.
6. Walking the site floors to maintain visibility and accessibility.
The Individual
A successful candidate should work well under pressure, be a confident team leader and team member. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, especially experience working on residential projects. The ideal candidate will have overseen electrical installations on a new build project from start to finish.
Skills and Qualifications
* Valid ECS card or equivalent.
* Appropriate electrical qualification.
* City & Guilds 18th Edition.
* Current H&S knowledge.
