We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team here at Oner Active as our General Manager (Mat Cover). As the General Manager, you will support the CEO in overseeing Oner Active’s Day to day operations with a primary focus on project delivery and internal infrastructure development. You will be a strategic thinker, be adept at managing cross-functional teams, and have a proven track record of successfully delivering projects and enhancing internal systems by delivering efficiencies and continuous improvement initiatives.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
CEO Support
* Work in close partnership with the CEO, executing directives where necessary and continuously re-prioritising projects based on company direction and strategy.
* Collaborate with executive leadership to align projects with overall business strategy.
* Keep the CEO informed of any risks to projects, launches or revenue delivery and suggest mitigation.
* Act as a liaison between different departments to ensure effective cross-functional collaboration; specifically facilitating the cross-department weekly meeting.
Strategic Project Management
* Ensure constant prioritisation of the projects based on alignment to company’s strategy and advising the CEO on changing priorities on a weekly basis.
* Manage a team to develop and implement selected project plans, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables, holding cross functional partners accountable for their deliverables.
* Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
* Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and budget.
Infrastructure management
* Evaluate and enhance internal infrastructure to optimise operational efficiency with a focus on ways of working and effective company communication.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to streamline workflows.
* Manage local (UK) IT and support collaboration with global (AT) tech teams to implement technology solutions which enhance the company’s ways of working and business growth.
* Support the UK It Manager to lead initiatives to modernise and digitise internal systems.
Budget Management
* Develop and manage budgets for projects and infrastructure initiatives.
* Monitor operational expenditures, ensuring financial goals are met.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality.
Legal Management
* Own the corporate legal budget and delivery, working closely with external counsel and the CEO.
* Liaise with law firms on Trademarks registrations and investigations
* Liaise with law firms on infringement investigations
* Liaise with a law firm for Design rights strategy, applications and clearance searches
* Liaise with SLT and internal dept for IP protection (IT, documentation, etc)

This is a hybrid role, with 3 days in the London office and 2 remote. You may be required to travel due to the nature of the role.
