Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and imaginative Drama Teacher to deliver inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5. The successful candidate will foster a deep appreciation for theatre and performance while helping students to grow in confidence, collaboration, and creativity. The role also involves supporting a vibrant programme of school productions, drama clubs, and enrichment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and high-quality Drama lessons from KS3 to KS5
* Direct and assist with school productions, showcases, and co-curricular performances
* Encourage pupil involvement in drama competitions, festivals, and enrichment programmes
* Track and assess pupil progress, offering targeted feedback and individual support
* Collaborate with colleagues in the Arts Department to support an innovative curriculum
* Promote key values such as confidence, teamwork, and creative thinking

What We re Looking For
* A degree in Drama or a related discipline
* QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* Experience teaching Drama up to KS5 (applications from ECTs are warmly welcomed)

* Excellent classroom and communication skills
* A collaborative, reflective approach aligned with the school s values and culture
