The Role The role will involve giving technical advice and specifying sustainable building materials for a variety of applications via telephone and email. This role is full time and based in our office on the outskirts of Exeter with the opportunity for hybrid working. For the right candidate part time working may also be accommodated.
There may be occasions when travel throughout the UK is required to attend trade shows.
To provide full technical support to our customers in terms of evaluating drawings and optimising thermal performance and airtightness of the building envelope through our product range.
To provide technical sales advice and support to our customer base of Architects; Builders & Contractors; This may be verbally over the phone, virtually or via email.
To provide U-Value calculations, condensation risk analysis and possible hygrothermal analysis.
Actively monitoring and following up general technical and sales enquires received via email and through our website.
Insulation, Air Tightness, basic Passivhaus principles, project specification with architects, building site visit experience, building regulation knowledge, U-value and Dew Point analysis, reading drawings, commercial knowledge (pricing, tender bids for large projects etc).
