Overview
Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Physical and Theoretical Chemistry Laboratory to work under the supervision of Professor Adam Kirrander for a period of 12 months in the first instance, with potential to extend. The project involves advanced theory for new ultrafast imaging experiments and is funded by Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) UK.

Responsibilities
* Manage your own academic research and administrative activities.
* Project management to coordinate multiple aspects of research that involve multiple national and international collaborators and to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
* PhD in Physics, Chemistry, or a relevant subject area or be close to completion prior to taking up the appointment.
* Experience in electronic structure theory.
* Experience in R-matrix theory, quantum molecular dynamics, and the calculation of observables is highly beneficial.
* Experience with coding and method development is highly beneficial.
