We’re looking for an experienced Chef Manager to lead the kitchen at George Abbot School, bringing fresh seasonal ingredients and ensuring smooth service.
Job Details
* Job Title: Chef Manager
* School Location: George Abbot School, Guilford, GU1
* Working Days: Monday to Friday
* Shift Hours: 6:30am – 4pm (45 hours per week)
* Working Weeks: 42 weeks per year (term time, inset days and 3 additional weeks)
* Pay: up to £40,000 per year DOE

Responsibilities
* Plan and cook menus using fresh seasonal ingredients at volume.
* Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring smooth service and compliance with due diligence.
* Liaise directly with onsite clients and maintain communication.
Qualifications
* Experience as a Chef Manager.
* Strong people‑management skills.
* Successful candidates are required to undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure and children’s barred list check, which IFG will pay for.
